Service Notification – Email Service Interruption

5:30pm Saturday Update:
We continue to see signs of progress such as customers receiving some email. Mail2World has stated that functions may be returned incrementally so you may see notifications but not the full email, or be able to receive but not send. This is expected and normal. Some email may have timed out or have been returned to sender and may not be delivered. We hope to have more positive updates for you soon!

10:30am Saturday Update:
A few SRT customers are reporting that a small number of emails are trickling into their mailboxes. While these reports are limited, and this is not the case for all customers, we take it as a positive sign of progress in restoring service.

During this process, we have no reason to believe that any customer information has been compromised. The ransomware attack locked the email server but did not access account information or email content.

Mail2World, SRTs 3rd party email provider, continues to work diligently to restore email service to millions of email customers globally after a ransomware attack.

6:53pm Friday Update:
We apologize that we have no new information at that time. We continue to be in contact with our email provider as they work around the clock to restore service.

6:00am Friday Update:
SRT’s email service is still experiencing an outage. Technicians from Mail2World, SRT’s 3rd party email provider, are working around the clock to restore service. We understand that email is important to your business and personal communication and sincerely apologize for the ongoing service interruption.

9:38pm Update:
SRT’s 3rd party email provider, Mail2World, has indicated that in spite of their best efforts the service restoration is still in progress. We will continue to update you here.

4:48pm Update:

Unfortunately, SRT email service is still experiencing an outage. We continue to be in communication with our email provider and will provide an update when there is additional information.

Update
As of this morning, January 13th, SRT’s 3rd party email provider is estimating that email service will be restored by mid-afternoon today. We sincerely apologize for this service interruption.

SRT Customers:

SRT’s 3rd party email provider is experiencing an outage, which means all subscribers are not able to send or receive emails at this time. Our email service provider is working on resolving this issue and we will keep you posted on progress.
