SRT will be upgrading our Internet equipment, which will cause a brief interruption to Internet service for some customers. Emails will be sent to each affected customer with exact date of their scheduled maintenance. The maintenance window is scheduled between 12:01 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., but the actual service interruption should be for a short time within that window.

This upgrade will allow SRT to continue to bring the fastest, most reliable broadband Internet service to you. We chose this maintenance window to minimize the impact on our valued customers as much as possible.

The downtime will affect your home Internet service, which may also include connected devices such as smart home gadgets or security or video surveillance systems. We will do our best to keep the service disruption time to a minimum. Please note this schedule and plan accordingly for the brief maintenance window.

SmartHub and MySRT app will be unavailable on Sunday, June 7, beginning at 12:00 a.m. for a scheduled system upgrade. We appreciate your patience during this time and will update you once the scheduled upgrade is complete.

We appreciate your business and want to make you aware that products you may use have been discontinued by their manufacturer.

As of December 31, 2025, FileHopper and Password Genie will end and personal data within the apps will be deleted.

What you should do:

Double-check the apps you are using to see if you have any personal data you want to retrieve before December 31, 2025.

For instructions on exporting your data from Password Genie, go to www.securitycoverage.com/support/ and choose Password Genie.

For instructions on managing FileHopper data, go to www.securitycoverage.com/support/ and choose FileHopper.

Once you are done using the products or they’ve reached their end-of-life date (and you’ve removed any personal data you want to retain), you can delete the app from your device(s).

We want to help you find a suitable alternative to these products. Some options for free or low-cost alternatives include your device’s built-in applications and the following:

Password Vault: Bitwarden and LastPass

Cloud Storage: ProtonDrive and Sync
